  • I love matched sets of underwear and don't know how anyone could not. I feel uncomfortable and odd in any mismatched set and any time I've been in a mad rush and attempted it I ended up changing to a set. It's lovely of you to buy pretty things for your wife. Maybe the next time you catch her out in a mismatch, ask to see what the set looks like together, then offer lots of praise and compliments on how lovely they go together etc etc and maybe she'll realize that herself and wear them like that more often :))
  • Well, I know that I am never matched.

  • I do wear matching undies most of the time - but it's not always as simple as guys think! The problem with matched sets is that sometimes the bra will be really comfortable and well fitting but the knickers will not be as good - or vice versa. Also knickers need to be changed at least once a day, whereas you can get away with wearing a bra two days running (and unless you're a straight 34B well-fitting bras are expensive and hard to come by - so most women own more knickers than bras. If you buy your own undies you tend to know what's comfortable and you can try bras on to get the fit - if someone else buys them for you they're more likely to go a bit wrong. Even if you know her size it's not that simple - a 32C in one shop is completely different from one in another for some reason. And then there's the infamous "time of the month pants". (thongs don't work too well then, whatever the Tampax advert says) Plus when you're in a rush in the morning you tend to just grab whatever's at the the top of your undies draw without thinking about it. One way around that is to clip your bra straps around the legs of the matching knickers so they're attached together and you don't have to search for the pairs. Another is to buy most of your underwear all in the same colour, so even if it's not designed to go together it still "matches".
  • I try to match all the time, even when my closet and dresser drawers look inside out from me looking for the one I want! I even like them to match my outfit!
  • I have no sets at all, because I buy my bras in another shop than my panties. But mostly they have the same colour: white
  • i never match exept for when we are doing IT. i dont prefer it but i like to satisfy my huband
  • i put on what is clean and what i grab first and 9 times out of ten, it doesn't match.. this drives my man insane...
  • LOL. I am NEVER matching. Because to be honest, looking sexy underneath insnt really the first thing on my mind in the morning. =) ~+~
  • If my man bought me matching bra and panty sets... I'd certainly return the favor by matching. I feel sexiest when they both match, so I try to do it as often as possible.
  • I don't intend to be but I am guilty of often being "mis-matched." I think it's because often times I am in a hurry and want to wear something clean and either one or the other has already been worn too many times.
  • Never matched..go commando.
  • It is hard to match bra and panties all the time. If I want to wear a light pink shirt and dark pants, I need to wear a bra that won't show through the shirt and panties that won't catch attention if they are sticking out of my pants... which means that I have to wear a light pink bra and dark panties. I don't ever match because matching sets are a waste of money. First of all, bras are expensive and are meant to be worn a few times before laundering them. You can wear a bra many more times than you can wear panties before having to do laundry. Matching sets usually don't fit perfectly on top and bottom. Different bras are made for different uses... a plunge bra is for when you are wearing a really low cut top, a racerback bra is for when you are wearing something that has a racerback, strapless is for strapless...ect... If she wants to wear a shirt that has a low cut neck and she already wore the bra and panty set earlier that week, she has to wear different pantys. Unless you plan on buying four pairs of panties to match each bra, it just isn't practical. After wearing a bra once, you need to wait at least 24hrs before wearing it again to give the elastic time to go back to the shape it is suppost to be. Not giving a bra time to recuperate results in the bra stretching out too far, making you have to go and buy another. If she wants to wear bottoms that require a certain type of panty and she wore the matching bra the day before, she has to wear a different bra or wear it again and ruin it. also... bras take up a lot of space, and it just isn't neccisary to have as many bras as you do panties
  • I wear matched underwear but not all the time - life is too short to waste time in the morning trying to choose what set to wear - my sets are mainly for the bedroom not the office!
  • If they underwear that I am wearing is not a matching set it will certainly be a matching colour.
  • u have a brother hehehe
  • It is difficult to always match bras and panties everyday. Sometimes, we wear the bra a couple of days and wear new undies each day. So, sometimes one of the set is in the wash or whatever. It's so nice that you try and please your wife with matching sets, but if she wears a set once in a while, be happy.
