Only apples and blackberries, and we had to be careful not to get caught when we were scrumping the apples.

Crab-apples. I'm not even sure if you're supposed to eat them, but we did. We also found wild raspberries on the train tracks that we ate. I've always lived in the city though, so we didn't encounter a lot of wild fruits and vegetables.

Grew up in Florida and lived on 800 acres of Oranges, Grapefruit, Tangelos, Tangerines, Lemons, Limes, Bananas Kumquat and one Avacoda tree.

Jim, loved to pick wild blueberries when i was a kid....also, grandmother would tell me to pick them and she would make a great pie with them! good memories...my grandmother on my dad's side was the best person i've ever known! +5

Let me see if I can remember them all. We had apples, pears, blueberries, strawberries, figs, crabapples, blackberries, boysenberries, white and red grapes, and a persimmon and quince tree for good measure. All were growing on the property. In the surrounding woods, there were mulberries, blackberries, native persimmons and wild cherries. What a feast. :)
