  • You are responsible for child support no matter where your child is or how close (on a personal level) you are with that child. That is your responsibilty. I can state that if it were my child I would be fighting tooth and nail to have that child be in my life. So no excuses are acceptable as far as the support you should be paying, if she is of your DNA, she is of your responsiblity.
  • You should not have to continue paying support to your ex, but will likely have to go through the courts to have the order changed. The support should be going to the grandparents if they are now the ones solely responsible for your child's needs.
  • You will have to pay child support. It's not legal for the mother to keep your child from you, and can face possible jail time for doing so. Since it is the mother who continues to relocate, talk to her about meeting you at a half way point for visitation. If you have to take that to court, it's a good possibility the court would order her to meet you half way. Don't just sit back and let it happen. Your daughter needs her father as much as she needs her mother!
  • You have rights. See an attorney. You will pay support to grandparents. Why aren't you her gaurdian?
