Make it "multiple bad decisions" in my case...
-
Yes, the logic is clear. If you never try new things you'll have no new experiences, but you must also learn from the mistakes of others as you will not live long enough to learn everything first hand.
-
yes, the more mistakes you make, the more mistakes you know in advance, not to make:)

I apply it every time I realize I've made a bad decision. Fortunately, the bad decisions don't always have to be my own. I can learn from the bad outcome of other's flawed decisions without having to suffer the consequences myself. For instance, when I was a wild child I drove really drunk one night. I got away with it. But having seen what can happen, I will never, ever do that foolish thing again.

yes it basically means we learn from our mistakes, a good statement
-
I have never heard this before but, it is soo right. A very good adage and one I will remember for ever. Thank you.
-
Yes I do think there's a lot of truth in that statement. Without making bad decisions we can't know what exactly is wrong and what is right.
-
It's so true. Though sometimes I wish that good decisions could just happen without having to go through the bad ones.

It's ridiculous. Experience comes from everything..decisions, observation, intellect...another silly saying that, when broken up into its components is totally meaningless! :)
