  • Not at all, not even a tiny bit. I really couldn't help the circumstances I was born into, as nobody else in the world can. We can just do our best to try and improve the lives of others once we're here. In any case, wealth and opportunities are relative.
  • No. ;-)
  • No, just mystified.
  • Not at all, my parents have worked hard throughout their lives, so I believe that they deserve to live a comfortable life (with their kids of course .. i.e. me!) I ll do just the same once I grow up! (haha I sound like a six year old :)
  • No way...for one thing, it's not my fault that I have the opportunities and whatnot that I have, and also, from where I'm standing, I have just as much misfortune as anyone else in the world.
  • No, why should I?
  • That's why I try to give back.
  • I wasn't yo...
  • Not at all. I do not like that others are not born with what I was born with, however, I did not make that choice. Also, my parents worked their *sses off to give me this opportunity. It was not easy for them to move from Romania to Canada to give me this chance (Canada to America in the late 60's). I am grateful every day that they made the effort. I am aware of the Hell I would have faced had I been born in Romania and think of my kin in Romania and all the other Rrom there every day.
  • I dont feel guilty. I think what makes me sick though is anyone who is born in America with what is available to us and does not appreciate it. I dont care if you are born in the worst situation in this country, there is no way it can compare to 3rd World Countries. I dont think we should feel guilty about something we cant control but dont let all of what is available to us go to waste.
  • No, but I do wish I worked hardly. I do work harder than average, but generally because I want to and have my mind on focus. It's when I don't want to that it's a challenge, a drag, etc. Hate that. If I was like some people who needed to fight to get everything, I think I'd have a different perspective. For instance, I've been blessed with a nice lean body, but now I'm starting to realize that cellulite is appearing. I want to keep my good body so, now it's my time to work. (help!)
  • No, Ive worked very, very hard and hardly have anything. I went to school for years and years. I get sick of hearing how rich we are in America. Some people are I guess. 30 million working Americans make less than $10 an hour. Look at most of the help wanted ads, single digit pay, scams, sales jobs, etc. It is not as good as it used to be, and I work harder and it is definately much harder to get a job that pays a decent wage than it was 30, 40 or 50 years ago. read "Nickel and Dime" or "Redneck Manifesto" <- the title is almost humorous, the book itself has a lot of good points.
  • Absolutely not but I sure am grateful for it.
