When I was pregnant with my daughter an Internet friend of mine emailed me information about a blood test that would give information as to whether you are at risk for cervical cancer, it stated that a PAP Smear was basically unnecessary. I asked my OB/GYN about it and he had never heard of it and told me that he didn't believe it existed, asking me for my sources. He didn't stay my OB/GYN for long after that for other reasons. But this test that I had heard about is advertised now as BRAC Analysis. I hope that he cringes every time he sees that commercial to know that an average 'uneducated' pregnant woman knew more about his field then he did. LoL!!
