  • That question has many answers,i was told that as long as you maintain a address in the USA,it won't matter. i live in Mexico and Texas and go back and forth all the time. my address and bank is in Texas. no one has ever questioned it. my social security come via direct deposit,my debit and credit cards are with my Texas bank and they honor it as long as i inform my bank that i use them in Mexico. i was told that my SS checks can go to a mexican bank of my choice,i dont think it realy matters as long as you have the right papers and tell SS what you are doing.
  • If you are talking about SS retirement benefits, you can have dual citizenship. The only other requirement besides citizenship is that you had to have worked a total of 40 quarters. Funny thing about the last requirement is that the SSA will even count time you worked while in the USA unlawfully ;p
