Do you have to get on people in your house to keep the refrigerator closed?
No I just leave them and the open door be,, most the time.

No. By the time they're old enough to open the refrigerator they should be old enough to know to close it behind them. And, like Pearl, I live alone now. When my boys were young I had to remind them not to waste food and water and (like Archie) remind them to turn the lights out. BTW for anyone struggling with that - I finally took my son's light bulb out of his room for a week and it wasn't a recurring problem after that.
