  • It was your supreme awesomeness my friend ;)
  • You must be wonderful.
  • That was undoubtedly a supremely nice act by two guys that appreciated your cheerful attitude.
  • Sometimes nudden like a 2:00 a.m. gratuity, no?! ;-)
  • Nice tip but I feel since you had to wait longer it was well deserved.
  • if i impose on the staff like this I always thank them and tip as much as i can
  • I know I'm out of the loop when it comes to bar drinks, but the first thing I thought was..."WOW they must be really thirsty to pay that much for only two drinks!" Nice tip though :) They probably got half way home and said.."DAMN, where'd my $20 go?!"
  • Seems kind of excessive. Bet they wanted something else?
  • I have a friend, who is a Dr., and he goes to the bar, drinks a couple of drinks, and always leaves a 100 dollar bill, no matter how much his tab was. Usually, he leaves around a 75 dollar tip.
  • I have a friend who does that. He often tips 100% of a restaurant bill even for bad service. I bet a grumpy waitress would cheer up for that sometimes.
  • A bar that closes at 10, I assume in the pm, now that is the strange part.
  • WOW, now what did you 'show' to get that lol. A little leg, a little cleavage. OR just superior service.
  • I know that if I sneek in at last call or after, I am always very glad for any service at all, and show it monitarily!
  • When two guys come in late like that, it's probably to rob you or case the joint. Count your blessings, they were just nice guys.
  • Folks in the business or who were in the business tend to be better tippers than the general public. They know and appreciate those who break their butts doing the best jobs they can to provide good food, drinks and service. I KNOW when I go to a bar or to eat, I ALWAYS tip AT LEAST 25% of the total tab or check. It sort of makes up for those who don't know any better or who think the business is earning ALL THAT money AND the server is getting paid A WHOLE LOT of money! Believe me: NOTHING could be further from the truth! AND I'm not bashful or afraid about letting the employees and management know how well (or not so well) the food and service were.
