  • Because he's not fully taking care of her financially - if the state has to pay for her insurance that's why he has to pay support - He pays the state for having them insure her and for her birth - some can cost as much as $16,000 for the birth of a child (that's with complications like I had with my daughter). That money the state gives low income people for insurance doesn't just fall out of the sky someone gets stuck flipping the bill. If he has a job that offers insurance it would be in his best interest he add her to it ASAP - if not the child support with never end.
