  • Yes you should. This is abnormal - this could be a sign of circulation problems, it could be hip dysplasia it could be a symptom of several nasty and benign ills. I do not know how you know that the leg(s) have 'gone asleep'. Most likely it is stiffness and potentially soreness. Think arthritis. Dogs age more rapidly than humans - larger breeds of dogs are subject to many joint ailments and issues which although the dog may not whimper or make that painful noise - they are still in some pain. Take the dog to a vet and get a check over to rule out things - perhaps even get a treatment option to relieve the limp and any potential pain.
