  • I go through child support enforcemant. They don't do much, but about 1 time a year I do get a check from him. They eventually take away his license ( he still drives w/o one) and the only way he can get it back is to pay a small amount ($500'ish) Not nearly what he pwes, but anything is better than nothing.
  • Gather all the info you can about his employment and living conditions, make copies, and send a copy, via registered mail, to both the court that made the pay order and the income tax people ... request an investigation, an audit, and assistance in getting a payment, as well as charging him with failing to pay.
  • report his employer, thats a start, I guess...
  • take him back to court might help..go online and check what kinda of action you state can do to help you. my sisternlaw is trying to get her back child support and has had anyluck..her ex owes 11,000 in back child support they did take his operators and his income tax last year but since then nothing has been done and im in west virginia..very poor state when it comes to child support..the dont seem to care..good luck
  • good luck! I had this problem and never got a dime. He had a "roofing company". He advertised all over the place (small town, so places like placemats in restaurants and newspapers). He said he was licensed and insured...he didn't even have a driver's license! He lived with his girlfriend who had a decent job at the time. I tried contacting everyone I could think of. Social services, irs... didn't do any good. When I tried to report him for tax evasion, they wanted his business/tax id number. I kept telling them he didn't have one because he was running his business off the books. They said if he doesn't have a tax id number, he doesn't have a business and has no taxes to report! I even tried one of those agencies they advertised on tv a few years back. "we'll get your back child support" place. They were on his back for 18 months, then sent me a letter saying they were unsuccessful and were dropping the case!
  • i would contact your support agency again and tell them you want enforcement done. If he is not complying with his order they can throw him in jail maybe if he has to sit time or is threatened by it you might get money.
  • File a report with the state and they will put him in jail... working or not.
  • UPDATE!!! I found out through a family member that he recently has been incarcerated for some reason, and I want to inform family services. He has been hiding out and working for cash so his pay isn't garnished etc... He has 4 kids with 4 different women the oldest is 22 and the yougest is 2. Is ther a website that I can check to see if he is in jail?
