  • Easter grass is not a hairball and there are no home remedies for a cat who has eaten some. More, passing it may not be the best idea as it could damage her intestines on the way through. Cats that stop eating are very ill. If you value your pet, please take her to a veterinary hospital right away.
  • get your cat to the vet. Mine ate paper easter grass 7 years ago and got a blockage. Then 6 months late, he got adhesions. He's fine now, but it was scary.
  • My cat ate some this week also and has been throwing up but still eating cat food. I just talked to my vet and she said, cats who have a foreign substance in their intestines will get very sick, very fast, within 24-48 hours and they will throw up continuously and not eat at all. She said if the cat is still eating but also throwing up but not constantly, then it is probably not wrapped around the intestines. I hope this helps you.
