  • they might depending on laws where you were, they could make you go to court, if you dont show up they might suspend you liscence and put a warrant out for your arrest, but like i said it depends on location. parking tickets aren't expensive just pay it or make that call, its really not worth all the trouble.
  • Nothing, it was through the school....if they see your car there again then they will tow since they gave you a warning...but i would call and tell them that i was not a student and just visiting....the school has records and can see you are not a student there
  • That happened to me and the next time I went to renew the registration on my car the ticket (plus fees) showed up on my record and I had to pay the ticket in order to get my car re-registered. My dad wasn't too pleased with me that day (I was like 17 lol).
  • Who issued the ticket? If it was the school, they don't have any legal authority to make you pay that, they can only take more drastic action (towing) if you park there again. If, however, it was issues by municpal police or traffic enforcement, you can be compelled in a court of law to pay and face additional fines and other criminal consequences if you don't.
  • depends if the school cop was a city cop working for the school like most schools. i got one at my school and didnt pay for it and about a month later i got a fine in the mail for not paying for it. it went from a $10 parking ticket to a $200 fine. so you might want to find out cause you only have a couple of days to pay a parking ticket or else it will turn into a fine.
