I'm pretty sure there are a few users who dislike me intensely... they don't make much of a secret of it. Of course I don't like that, but I think it's important to be aware of those concerns and not let them determine my behavior. You can't be yourself and please everyone at the same time.

I do at times too. I think it may be that people start to hate some of my brutally honest answers.

Hate is a strong word for the internet. You feel hated? By whom? There are some on here that I don't like and there are some on here that don't like me. That's the way it is and that's the way I would expect it to be.

Yes. In fact I've complained to AB-Rich about it. Here's his reply: "Hi Troll, I've reviewed this, and while I see your complaint, I think this falls more on the side of the standard mosquito bites all high ranking users attract, rather than out and out harassment. The best thing to do is ignore it, but if it escalates feel free to send me more links. Rich" BTW, I don't hate you ;)

Hmmmm. By three people for sure, and probably closer to five. I have more friends, though, so I don't give the others much thought. Dwelling on the negative makes it seem more important than it actually is.

Actually, AB is one of the friendliest sites I've been too. On YouTube or MySpace, or even the iTunes reviews, one in 15 people is a real prick, but I haven't made enemies on AB yet.

No, not really. Maybe sometimes someone disagrees with me, but that's not enough to make me think that they hate me. I'm not popular enough to be hated. :)

I don't know about "Hatred", but I've definitely felt some gotten some vibes (And words) of dislike and animosity from people at times. Honestly though, I don't waste much effort or attention to people who choose to act that way towards me. I think some disagreement and bad feelings are inevitable when everyone is speaking their mind, and I'm not exactly shy about stating my opinions, so I'm bound to attract a fair amount of antagonism.

Hated, maybe. I'm sure there are a few ABers who don't like me, that's OK. Can't please everybody. I think I pissed off someone who posted a spam about Paypal on Saturday. I've been getting quite a few down ratings since then.

1) I have only 48 from 5057 answers with overall negative ratings. I suppose I should be happy with it. And I might also have objectively deserved some of them. 2) I received some DR in the last few days, I hope it does not happen too often. Some high ranking ABers complain about systematic trolling, I suppose I am not far enough. 3) Of course, it is not all about points (although it could be an indicator). I suppose that some people don't like me, either because they don't agree with my opinions, or because they don't like my behavior. Or out of any other reasons. Maybe because of my language, it is not bad, but I am no native English speaker, so it could sometimes sound weird. But I usually do not feel hated here. I rather feel accepted and appreciated. 4) What makes you feel like this? Downrates? Comments? Being ignored?

Hated, probably not, although i am hardly a loved member of the family. But at times when i am in moods over personal things or anything really i show it clearly on the site in my Q&A and i know i annoy quite a lot of people with my sulking.

Actually, I never worry about whether people on AB like or hate me. I have a few friendships that I've made, but the number of ABers I talk to off the board is less than half a dozen. I'm not here to win friends. If you like me, good. If you dislike me, good. If you really have so much animosity towards someone you only know from an internet messaging board, well, I think there's some introspection that can be done.

Not once have I ever thought that people gave me that much thought, to actually hater me and spend time to acquire such strong feelings against me. Maybe not their favorite or someone they don't like....but hate? So strong a feeling!

There are people on here who probably do hate me, but I don't like all of the people I've met on here, either, so they can feel free to!

Quite the opposite, actually. Out of the two years I have been on here, nearly every day, I have had hundreds and hundreds of people thank me for my answers and give me very helpful comments and answers. There are some people who have a need to express their worst feelings in writing, and that really just points to a personality disorder in them. In my experience, the ones who complain the worst are the ones who are feeling the worst, so I feel sad for them.

not hated...people have been extremely rude and assuming and passionate about things, but I don;t mind...they don't know me...if they did, they would love me. I have some good friends here...more great ppl here than jerks. Be yourself and remember this is just for fun...

Since people do not really know me they can only hate what they imagine they know. I think there are a few people that dislike me .I do not know why I never interfere and I am never unkind. I do say what I believe to be right. If they do not like that I am sorry but Down rating will not bully me into changing one word of anything I write unless I believe I am wrong. A long time ago I allowed a group of senior people to make me miserable enough to leave AB for a while. Then I came to my senses and realised that they were only legends and Queen Bees in their own imaginations. I came back and now I just continue on the site in my own time and way. If somebody does not like me that is a shame but more a problem for them than me.

I have felt targeted by someone on the site before. I don't think that they could have possibly hated me...I have only gotten to know (counting) maybe five people off-site, and (to my knowledge) none of them hate me. So, no.

Not hated. But I don't understand why at times people seem offended by what I say. AB is supposed to be a forum permitting the free expression of ideas. Everyone has different backgrounds, experiences, and outlooks. So I don't see why some people take offense at what I say even if they think I'm wrong or I may be wrong.
