  • No. I get upset with people who are late because they're showing you by their actions that they think their time is more important than yours. Besides, if you say you're going to meet somebody at a certain place at a certain time and you don't do it that makes you a liar as well as being late and disrespectful.

Same here. I'm early to everything. I've noticed that my late friends seem annoyed when I am on time to things. I get frustrated, and they get annoyed. I don't get it- I am apologetic and embarrassed when I make others wait for me.

I was a bit harsh with my answer. After further consideration I've thought about one of my best friends Michelle. She has six kids and she's almost always running late, but you know what? She's there for me! Even with six kids I can count on her to be there for me when I need her and that's awesome! She can be late all she wants lol! Few people in my life have been consistently dependable (my parents weren't) so I truly appreciate when someone is more than most, I think. Final answer: being late is disrespectful. However some people have a lot going on in their lives and should be forgiven. But being upset with someone who's on time seems a bit on the ridiculous side to me.

well unless the person who's on time could have helped them get ready I think that may have been time better spent I don't know I'm running off on tangents here

I don't like being late! Or unprepared! Makes me nervous! Deep anxiety! No, I'll be ready 15 minutes early if things go as planned and I'll probably help the late one any way I can, but sometimes these things are out of our control and I gotta be able to roll with it. Still it's best to be prepared.
