12-27-2016 Foods don't give you gas, lousy digestion does. Your gut is home to a lot of flora, bacteria, and other types of growy stuff. If your digestion is not right, the food rots and the types of stuff growing on it determine what kinds of gas are produced. For instance if you eat yogurt every day, the yogurt bacteria will eventually drive out all other critters and you will not produce any gas whatsoever. Not all yogurt actually contains yogurt bacteria, so that is why they offer "probiotic" pills. You need to study some books about nutrition to take care of yourself in this business. Nutritional yeast will produce gas, but it will also straighten out your digestion to stop further production of gas. So you take small amounts at first and see how the gas goes. When it subsides, then you can double the dose.
