  • Hi... Yes that's to throw off bots and hacker... You will find your index.php in your template folder. Each template that you load will have their own index.php.
  • Hi JJPedersen I will need you to check two things. Check in the configuration.php file on the server if $mosConfig_absolute_path $mosConfig_cachepath $mosConfig_live_site are for those of the server or your pc at home. Check if the correct template is being used and all the files are on the server. Revert back. Zean Clod
  • And please also ensure thant no "index.html" or "index.htm" file is in your Joomla root directory. A server loads a html file with priority instead of a .php file. Because if I take a look at your site I found a bit of source code on the blank page and my FF extension says its a html file.
  • works fine for me - page loads. Sometimes errant modules / components will cause this type of scenario as well. I look at the error_log of the site first to see whats going on, then the access_log to see if someone is poking around where they shouldn't. Glad to see the page is loading correctly.
  • Well, out of panic and desperation I had the server admin do a restore of the sites last "up and running" condition. Thanks for all your suggestions Jason By the way, I love the idea of this web site and I will be back frequently. The questions that are asked, can they be about anything joomla (errors, trouble shooting, new ideas) or is it limited to a certain topics?
  • Ok I just found out what causes the site to go blank, after the site backup restore I deleted the Virtuemart Component, once I did that everything was wiped out. I have checked the file structure for an index.html but there wasnt anything there. Can anyone see what may have caused this? Thanks Jason
