  • Young man Slammed into the back end of a cement truck...he survived it with just a broken leg.
  • It was an accident on the 405S in California. The damage didn't appear that bad, but when I drove by, the guy in the driver seat of one of the cars was clearly dead. I myself was nearly in that accident.
  • I saw one where an 18 wheeler drove off of an over pass and fell on a truck. The truck was smashed flat.
  • I've seen a 6-car pileup on 101South in california. I dont think there were any fatalities.
  • I saw three-quarters of a car with the driver thrown into the back seat. I saw her collarbone where the seat belt cut her. I had to tell her not to move because I didn't want to risk her jostling her (possibly broken) back/neck. I heard she didn't make it. She said her name was Darla.
  • I didn't but my friend did.
  • I saw a truck t-bone an oak tree doing about 60 m.p.h. The guy walked away unharmed. Seat belts do save lives.
  • Bad. really bad. shattered glass everywhere and a body on the road. :|
  • I didn't see it happen, but I came across the fatalities less than a minute after it happened. A group of 6 people had been crossing the road when a car drove straight through them. 1 dead at the scene, 1 died in hospital, 2 seriously injured and 2 with less serious injuries. The car hadn't stopped, but he came back after finding a call box and phoning for ambulances and the police.
  • We were only going about 40 on the freeway. A car cut in front of a convertible forcing it to swerve. I saw a convertible flip over when it hit the side rails on the freeway, and it slammed down so hard it flattened. There were two fatalities. I will never, ever drive a convertible after seeing that.
  • The one I was in. a guy had stopped at a stop sign, and wanted to cross over our lane and go the opposite direction...trouble was, he didn't look to see we were coming and started up again. We had no chance to stop. We hit him just behind the driver's door. I blacked out when the cars hit, so mercifully, I cannot remember the impact, but there was literally no front left to our car. Several things were acts of mercy: 1)our seat belts held...enough. Although my husband's was probably faulty (we found out 6 months later when they recalled the model...too late for us to prove it in our case) and he did hit the wheel, fracturing his sternum. 2) the engine design did its job and took the engine beneath us. Had it not, neither of us would have survived. 3)we were coming up a hill and were 5km below the speed limit. That 5km meant that neither we, nor the other driver, were killed. 4) we hit the other driver just behind his door, because he had moved forward quickly. Had he braked, we would have killed him. We both have some residual problems from the accident 10 years on, but, on the whole, we were very blessed to have survived.
  • A couple of weeks ago I saw a car in front of me get t-boned (slammed from the side). The guy in the car in front of me smacked his head against the driver side window hard enough to shatter it. I was the first on the scene (it was right in front of me). I ran up, opened his door and the first thing I did was check his pulse. There was none. Thank goodness there was an ambulance behind me. I don't know what happened to either driver, but when the police showed up, they sprayed my hands with something to wash the blood off my hands. I still don't know if either lived.
  • It was a mini van back in 92. It rolled over after the driver fell a sleep on the long strait roads in Arizona going from Utah to California. 3 kids were thrown from the car. The aunt and mother along with a baby died instantly in the car and there was a little girl still alive. It ended up on its left side just a little off the road. - Just thinking about it makes me feel sad that it happened. Those long roads just get boring and people fall a sleep all the time. Never found out how the kids were doing but hopefully they were alright the two of the three that were tossed from the car were alive and the one in the car as well.
  • 5 years ago in 3 days time ...6kids (17 years olds) 2 girls ..3 guys ...1 pole ....score : 3 kids dead...3kids mangled but alive ...1 pole scraped
  • I was ten years old. I was walking down the sidewalk with my best friend. a car crossed the center line and hit a motorcycle head on and pushed the motorcycle into the ditch right in fron of us. The driver of the car was killed when his head smashed through the windshild. The motorcycle and it's rider were crushed between the car bumper and the ditch. The damage to the motorcycle and it's rider were so severe that it was not possible to see where one ended and the other began. The rider was my best friends older brother.
  • A motorcycle sliding under a tractor trailor truck at an intersection .... The truck's axle somehow caught the wheel and pinned the motorcyclists foot and his head hit the ground, the helmet split and his head went under the wheel.... Granted, no "cars" involved.... but it was awful.... and it all happened in a split second.... the motorcyclist was at fault, he sped through as the light turned red, passing us. He tried to stop suddenly and the bike slid....
  • The worst car accident I've seen was the one I was in. I fell asleep at the wheel and ran off the road in to the woods. I broke 2 parts of my face, my nose, part of my neck, a lot of my ribs, my lungs collapsed and I also broke my legs and one of my ankles. Had to have leg, eye, and have heart surgery. A stent put in my heart. I was in a comma for a few weeks and was in a wheelchair for a few months. My belt saved my life, but above that Jesus saved it. Alicia
  • I SAW A CAR GOING THE WRONG WAY ON I94 NORTH CHICAGO, IL DOING ABOUT 80-90 MPH AND HIT A FULLY LOADED SEMI HEAD ON. THE CAR WAS TOTALED BEYOND BELIEF AND THERE WERE LITERALLY BODY PARTS ALL OVER SCATTERED AS FAR AWAY AS 200FT. I WAS DRIVING BEHIND TO THE LEFT OF THE SEMI WHEN IT HAPPENED AND THE VICTIMS HEAD LANDED ON MY HOOD. IT WAS THE COOLEST THING I EVER SAW. I GOT OUT AND TOOK PICTURES. THAT MADE MY DAY WHEN I SEEN THAT. IT TURN OUT THAT THE DRIVER IN THE CAR WAS DRUNK AND THE FUNNY THING IS THAT THE VICTIM WAS MY EX GIRLFRIEND. WHAT A SLUT.
  • I saw a minivan take a left hand turn straight into two lanes of traffic that could not have stopped to avoid hitting it. The minivan driver was visiting friends and almost missed the turn for their neighborhood. Instead of missing it, he reacted and 6 out of 8 people in the van died. Traffic stopped on both sides and a helicopter came in, but 4 out of 8 were DOA. It was sad.
  • i was 10 at the time i think, and i was in the back of a cab with my parents somewhere on a highway in moscow driving to the airport during the middle of the night .. and we drove right by like a 10 car pile up .. it was huge! and everything was on fire .. unbelievable
  • I was the passenger in a roll over, we were going 130 and rolled into a corn field. At least five cars drove by without noticing us... Onstar couldn't locate the vehicle, they said: "we cannot find your location"
  • Creepiest: I'm just driving up US19 and all off a sudden after patiently waiting at a street light like normal, I see on the right side of the road while I'm going north a Pick-up truck mangled / up-tilted or some other malformation of up-turned metal in my life. The fact had happened much earlier. I know this because there were blinking lights from a myriad array of municipal vehicles and due to all of this visual evidence that I know beyond a fact what I tell to you today is the complete truth. I did see a stretcher there too. Yes, I was just going to get my car washed.
  • I was in this when the thing flipped the first time..I was across the road after it was all said and done..LOL (No I was not the driver!)
  • I saw a man on a speed motorcycle get bumped by a car and he actually fell off at about 70 mph. He did not make it.
  • I don't remember. Most of the time, they don't need me anymore when I am there and I am not interested to look in detail. Once I saw a person on a motorbike who had just bumped into a car, he was somewhat shocked but did not seem badly hurt. I made sure that rescue was called and waited until they arrived. Once I was in a train and it hit a truck stuck on the railway. I heard nobody was really hurt, the truck driver had jump out of his truck before impact.
  • it was ok nobody died. i was eating at a fast food place with my gf and a suv hit a street light while we were in the parking lot eating... they all jumped out of the car and like 30 seconds later the light fell and shattered nearly killing a guy! it was amazing! i called 911 and they wanted me to fill out a report so i left because we were high!

  • I've seen a severely folded + crumpled Chevy Astro in the median. Looked like it would have had some severe injuries.
  • a car flipped over 6 times and the driver was sliced in half by the seat belt. his stommage landed on my front window. it was horrible.
  • I saw a bus accident in South Korea where there were bodies and parts scattered all over the road. We had arrived right after the accident. Evidently the bus had bounced off a railing on the right which kept it from going over a cliff and then swerved left hit a couple of cars and t-boned the concrete median.
  • You had to go there. I'm still shuddering over the one the meter reader told me about. I told him about a bad stretch of road that I feared because of aggressive drivers, and he told me about the car that passed him at great speed, hit the guardrail, flipped, went into oncoming traffic, hit another car, came back toward him, hit a bridge abutment and the windshield suddenly went red. I can't get that image out of my mind. I'm not reading the rest of the posts, thank you.
  • "When I was six, we witnessed a car drive off a high- bridge from the Long Beach Freeway into an underpass opposing Freeway, somewhere in Los Angeles. And the people in that vehicle perished instantly cause the car exploded. It was a late night incident that I'll never forget. Right there and then, was when I realized what death was all about!!"
  • i never see a car accident happen, but i always see the aftermath of one. but the worst i've seen was a huge truck than tipped over the rail and half of the trailer us hanging off the side of an overpass and the whole thing was on fire! there was a HUGE black cloud of smoke! the truck driver had a haeart attack while he was driving...
