i'm a firm beleiver in that rule.

Not my floor
-
that depends on the food dropped. If its an oreo, it extends way past 3 seconds, at least for me:)
-
Yes, especially when no one else is around to see how silly you look picking the food up off your floor and eating it.
-
Mythbusters did a segment on this. There is no such thing as a "three-" or "five-"second rule when it comes to bacteria invading your food. If it drops on the floor, throw it away. I mean, think about it. Do you think bacteria sits there with a stopwatch and says, "OK, after three seconds it's all ours - but wait until then! Them's the rules!" Of course not.
-
Depending on the food, I believe in anything from the three-second to half-hour rule. Pretzels are troopers.
-
Nope. There is no magic.

YA
-
I don't believe it but I use it as an excuse.
-
As a general rule, yes.
-
No. If the food dropped in my home and was completely solid (like an oreo) then I will eat it. Else no way.
-
Heck!!Since I used to live in a Frat House I believe in the 3 day rule
