• I wouldn't play round. Make an appointment with a hairdresser straight away and get them to fix it up. they can do wonders.
  • You really would want to trim those burnt pieces off, cux they'll look like hell, anyway. And next time keep you head up when your lighting that j/k...!
  • I'm not a hairdresser but I do suspect that if the dead-ends aren't trimmed off that you're going to be risking split ends later on which could mean having to have far more cut off at a later date. That said, if you want to grow your hair out a little so that the healthy hair is at a good length, just disguise the burnt ends with hair-colour (try the kind people use when they want to touch up over grey - some have applicator brushes). If none of that is available or working, you can always try using waterproof mascara. The other option is to wear the white proudly - you never know, it could start off a trend! If people ask, throw in the name of some made-up fashion mag from Europe and say it's the latest style in Milan - they wear the weirdest hairstyles at fashion week so you're bound to be half-accurate with that one at least. And next time you need to use a lighter, pull your hair back / wear a hat that covers your hair or wear a hair-band in the very least.
  • It will rub right off that's why it is white
