I think it was about 2.15 or so an hour. Didn't help that it was in my father's store. I think others got more, but can't be sure. AND, I KNOW I got nickle raises. ($2.00 a week - MINUS taxes - IF I worked full-time, and I didn't, usually!)

Age 13, family business, free except for tips. Age 16, 11 dollars plus tip. Age 18, 9 dollars for 38 hours a week. God that was awful with school and all.
