  • There is a possibility that heavy weightlifting and workouts can stunt your growth, but usually is only apparent in those who do that when they're a LOT younger. I would not worry about that and just accept what you become. Life is full of wonderful things and just because most great gymnasts are short, doesn't mean you can't be a great medium height gymnast!
  • sometimes breaking a wrist can slow one's growth. it causes an interruption in the growth process. it can alter other growth processes as well and the return for a broken wrist might not be so great.
