When someone you can't stand insults you, do you take their words to heart, or laugh it off?

Stew for a little bit then get over it. I've been finally (Yay!) reaching the point where I don't let as much bother me as I used to.

The less that I care for the individual, the less that insults would bother me. Conversely, the more that I care for someone, the deeper the cuts. I thank that is just human nature.

take it to heart because i no that they probably mean what ever it is they said from their heart.

If I can't stand them, I don't care what they think about me or anything else. I may not laugh but I sure won't snivel over it, either.

sometimes it bothers me but I always remember that I can't stand this person so what they have to say really doesn't matter to me and has no weight, plus I would never give them the satisfaction of knowing they got to me.
