Have you ever received a gift that you didn't like from someone and then accidently regifted it a few years later back to that person? What was their reaction?

This didn't happen to me, but it happened to my mom. Yes, I'm also guilty of regifting, but I make sure I don't give it back to the person who gave it to me. A friend of ours keeps a drawer of unwanted gifts, and once she sent my mother a gift that mom had given her a few years before. My mom just laughed it off...she "re-gifts" too!

Not exactly, but just last week I returned a gift to a good friend that he gave me years ago. I actually loved his gift, a leather medicine bag, but he's going through some hard times and I thought it'd be a nice gesture to pass it back to him. He was really touched.
