I haven't. Since moving to this particular county, I wouldn't even know how. Our former county, Alameda, sucked, according to people I have know who needed help.

When I got my Covid shot, they wanted to put a box of food in my trunk. I told them that there were people really in need of food and they should give them my box, too.

No, but I have received food from churchgoers and pastors. Not that I need the food. It's just a way of showing their friendliness.

Sure. Back when I was a kid, they used to come to the rez and distribute boxes of "commodities" to all the households. Stuff like flour and shortening/lard, dry milk canned meat and govt cheese. Sometimes sugar and rice and other stuff too. That doesn't happen anymore though. 12/2/25
