  • It depends on you. You may finish that cycle, it may stop early. Some people bleed through out their whole pregnancy.
  • It's extremely rare to get pregnant while you are bleeding... the uterine lining isn't in tact for the embryo to implant properly. But you would keep bleeding because your body wouldn't recognize the pregnancy yet.
  • I have three kids and with the first two, I had one period, on schedule, in the first month. I did a pregnancy test during my period because although I had a period, it was different, and my breasts never went down after my period. But I was actually 3 - 4 weeks pregnant by then. The ultrasounds and delivery dates proved this as well. But if I understand periods, the period is to flush the vagina of materials not needed as a pregnancy did not occur, so I think the flow direction would hamper the opposing sperm direction. But the bleeding should stop as usual, and when any pregnancy hormones get stronger the periods should stop. Although, we have all heard of women who didn't know they were pregnant and because they still got their periods on time. So to be clear, it would stop on schedule, and not appear till after the baby, OR it would still stop and reappear at the scheduled time, which doesn't happen often
