I say the future looks bad. - The divide between the 'Haves' and 'Have-nots' is widening. Income doesn't tell the whole story. Look at health care and savings. -High-paying jobs are disappearing to low-cost workers overseas while the economy reports job growth due to more low-paying jobs. While it's not as bad as some will have you believe, it isn't improving life for Americans. - International opinion of us is in the toilet. I don't think 10 years is enough to undo what W has done to our image abroad. - Education is abysmal. I can do division without a calculator and that makes me a genius compared to many entering the workforce. The list goes on but it is depressing to continue. What saddens me the most is that as much as we've gone downhill and as much worse as it will get... we will still probably be the best nation on this planet.

I'm Australian and from what I hear over in Aus, if George Bush doesn't go then it looks bad for America.
