  Greetings the issue that im about to talk about has been bothering me for sometime and i thought it would be best if i can get advice from people.I have strict parents and i think this has affected my social life negatively.The only time i could actually spend time with my friends was at school,and i was at a boarding school in high school.During the holidays my parents would never allow us to go for friends birthday parties,movies and just generally spending time with them as they believed having a social life was not important.we rarely used to have friends over because me and my siblings would always be afraid of bringing our friends home because of the fear of what our parents would say and do.The only time i had friendships that existed was when i was in school,the moment i went home for holidays my friendships were non existant.I am currently in University but im home on holiday and my parents have given me a curfew which is at 18:00 hrs.My parents barely let me have freedom.I now look at my life and ive realised that i barely have any friends.No one calls my phone to ask to do anything with me.My social life especially when im home is non existant.And ive stayed with not having really close friends for a very long time.What advice would you give me as i need to have a social life and friends with whom i can spend time with?

  What do I do when my ex girlfriend doesn't want a relationship anymore because she wants me to focus on my studies, but she wants to focus on her studies too. And she currently doesn't want anything that does with me being in love with her. So what do I do??Oh she also said it will be fine even though i wouldn't love her anymore.   I am currently studying at a 4-year university. I have a 4.0 GPA and by the time I transfer I will have a 65 credits (most of them will not most likely not transfer because I am at a private university). I am trying to transfer to the south but I can not afford out of state tuition, where can I go that gives good scholarship where I can study for 10k/year or less?

  I have a trip to Paris planned with my parents, girlfriend and her daughter (9yo). Recently we found out that my father has prostate cancer and will need to undergo radiation treatment. He wont be able to come. Should the rest of us still go? My father has my brother and sister who will be able to support him while we are gone. I am going to feel bad if we go without him but also if we don't go at all. My girlfriend, her daughter, and my mother are really looking forward to the trip and still want to go. Should we not go? My sister is giving my mom a hard time about it. The trip is in a month. Thoughts?

  2 days ago I met Gril that her friend has a crush on me. I walked with her to that.girl and she didnt look any way sympatied about me she just facepalmed and get a bit shy when she saw me.Next day she asked me about my name I decided to tell it. When i came back from school I looked on facebook and they in fact invited me. Today I decided to ask for real whats going on she still says that her friend has crush on me stuff.
