Didn't do that (and it wasn't a couple of grand). See http://www.orangefrogproductions.com/ofp2o_auth_nfts_bestestbirthday.shtml . Otherwise, I got a cheap-a-- "diamond" for winning some contest. I could have it mounted in one of their $13 settings, and did. It looked really good. Wore it as a "pinkie" ring for a number of years. Of course, the coating melted off, and turned my finger green. I used "Hard-As-Nails" (a NUMBER of coats) on it and continued wearing the ring. I got MORE comments on how beautiful that ring was than my grandfather's Masonic ring, and a $700-800 black onyx surrounded by diamond chip ring I also wore.
