I think I know what you mean and I'm pretty sure I know someone like that. I don't consider us friends, though. I've come to the conclusion that she's only "helpful" to benefit herself if that makes any sense, and that is one of the reasons I decided I'm not her friend anymore. I just deleted her and I don't talk to her on MSN now. She doesn't go to the same school as me anymore, thankfully. I've noticed that girls get all weird about her and feel like their boyfriends like her. I even felt like that before. The strange thing is she actually does end up going out with these 'boyfriends' after 'helping people with their problems'. What is that all about? It goes back to what I said about how she is helpful to benefit herself. I don't really know your situation and I hope it's better than this, but yeah, what can you do to get him/her to give you a little space? Just ignore him/her. PS: It just occurred to me that that person might have a crush on you ... maybe.
