They have helped greatly thus far, and there are plans going 2 months into the future right now to continue the effort. Feb 10th is the first official IRL Raid(protest) and will be worldwide in lots of major cities. I know the one in Boston has blown up and there are tons of non-anons that are interested in coming. Toronto and Clearwater are supposed to be really big as well. Beyond this there are more protests planned, as well as plans to petition senators and congressmen about CoS. So far I think anonymous is doing a great job spreading the truth of Scientology to the public. Remember, it's not just some crazy benign religion that should be left alone. It's a dangerous brainwashing pyramid scheme cult created by a downright evil schizophrenic pathological lier that practices baseless and unproven pseudo-science.

Helped, seems kind of useless though. Driving them out of the net-I'm all for it. However all they seem to be doing is releasing videos and using script kiddies to DDoS their website. What are they, 14?

I'd say their first attacks - the Denial of Service attacks - did make Scientology into the victim. Now that they've switched to IRL protests, I think Scientology is losing the moral high ground, especially as the Scientologist's PR staff are having to resort to name-calling since they don't really have a good argument against Anonymous' actions. The more whacky, peaceful IRL protests Anonymous holds, the less favorable Scientology will probably seem, especially since Scientology is known for its vicious reactions to criticism. I also think a lot of it depends on the news coverage. It's helped Scientology where the news has been slanted in their favor and hindered it when the media has cast Anonymous in a more favorable light, so it all depends on the audience. Hopefully people will be curious enough to investigate for themselves, though sadly, I don't have that level of faith in the American public.
