if i ha kids i wouldnt say anything at all. i wouldnt want to scare them so i would keep quiet

I will tell them that if they pray today the whole day, then they don't have to pray again as God is coming tomorrow to meet us.

i wouldn't tell them. they don't need the stress, especially if i cant do anything about it. i think i would try to make the day as fun as possible for them.
