Make sure there are no drafts coming in around the windows -- have them caulked or insulated, or at the very least, hang a blanket over the window to keep excess cold out. You could shut off rooms you're not using (such as a guest room). Some winters I've shut off my bedroom because it stays cold, and slept on the couch in the living room. Bring in a little space heater to heat the bathroom when you're bathing, etc, so you don't have to heat the whole house up just to take a bath/shower. And, of course, dress warmer -- put on sweats & socks to sleep in, and wear a sweater around the house.

Wear warm clothes, keep moving, and wash dishes to keep your hands warm!

Buy some of that plastic sheet insulation you can just stick over a window and then tighten with a hairdryer, it does wonders to prevent heat loss.

Get used to colder temperatures by being lots outside, sportwise I mean. When your are bold, like me, or have very short hair wear a beany inside. You loose 50% of your body heat over your head. Use a heater blanket to preheat your bed, so it doesn't feel clam when you go to bed. And eat lots of stewes or soups, they keep you longer warm than pizza or fried food. You also can cook larger batches which can last for 2 days.
