Help answer this question below.
turn off computer
take to area where there is no carpet
open and remove side cover, how much dust do you see?
on fans, power supply, cpu etc
use canned air and blow out inside of case, ever where you can see ( if you must put a hand inside be sure and keep one arm on case to keep it grounded from static ele.)be usre and blow both ways on vents in power supply
now just plug in power back to case see if power supply fans start back up, and how fast are they going?
you shouldn't be able to count blades going around
look at fan on CPU make sure its moving
if its overheating it will happen pretty fast, let run 5 mins or more feel case on power supply how hot is it?
if hotter than you like to touch then its going out and this is whats shutting PC down.
when you replace go next watt up if you can.
also be sure in the program its self that there isn't a option that hasn't been checked where it says shut down computer when though burning, it may have been done so by default. if so uncheck and click apply and OK if these button are there and this should fix things
It could also be due to malware or virus in your PC.
Try the same software in a friend's PC, and you will know.
It sounds like it's overheating. Make sure the flow of air around the processor is not obstructed. You might need to add a fan. Or you might need a better power supply.
This question is like a year old. And anyway, why isn't everyone just using DVD Decrypter?

You're reading How come my computer keeps turning off when I try to Rip a DVD to a DVD ripper? I didn't click on the box that says "turn off computer when done ripping" but it just shuts off by itself. The computer turns out to be slightly warm. Please help.
