I think in some places that there is already a problem. Right now, we are dealing with overpopulations in some areas that still need attention.

I think I read that the earth passed its carrying capacity (sustainable / renewable resource use) in 1985, and a buttload of people have been born since then, and another 3 or 4 buttloads will be born before the population levels off. Large portions of the earth have been and are being environmentally ravaged.

Hello and welcome to the hear and now. We're so over populated now that famines and draughts are occuring in record rates. We've got a problem here, people, a big one. The problem is us. A quote I got in an e-mail said "Man is the only animal that his own existance is a problem he must solve."
