    The only plane that didn't crash where it was to be aimed was stopped by citizen action while our government went along with their usual procedures.
    .
    The heroes that day were a random selection of air travelers. They were some of us.

    You know I live in Manhattan, at that time my office was in the Helmsley Building at 230 Park Avenue just No. of Grand Central Station ( Time Life Building). I knew what had happened as I had a TV in my office and about 12:30 as I went to leave I saw hundreds and I mean hundreds of people fleeing the Time Life Building and Grand Central and coming though our Lobby to get out. I was getting pushed and shoved against the rotating glass doors of my building. I was so f'n scared. I found out a bit later there was a bomb scare (one of many in the City that day) and that's why everyone was running through our Lobby. I could never explain that day. I sat in Bobby Vans Steakhouse for hours drinking, smoking, watching the TV (they closed the place & only allowed regular customers in). The City was full of people on the streets, Air Force Jets flying all over, Swat Team Police all over etc. I couldn't sleep that night My Girls finally got through to me - they wanted to make sure I was all right - I broke down & cried. I found out the next day a friend of mine from Long Island who worked for Cantor Fitzgerald was on one of the upper floors and never made it out. I had a meeting Downtown two weeks later and took the Subway as it is direct. I could literally smell Death, it was horiffic. I have never been on the Subway since then and never been to the site even though I have passed it many times when I go Downtown in that area. Those are my facts about that day and they are true. There's more, much more, but that's all I have to say about that now! +5 Peace, Jonathan

    It's hard for me to understand how 'friendly conversation' and 'interesting' come about when speaking od 9/11. It's a fact that almost 3000 people died on that day because of it, innocent men, women, and children that didn't do anything except be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

    I don't think I find anything about that day too interesting being that I lost my father that day. Maybe it's interesting to some that they only found pieces of him. Or that another kid I knew who was 22, was found dead with his body intact cause he almost made it out, but the building fell on him first. I can see how some might think this is interesting but too me, I just don't see how a friendly discussion can take place about such a topic. Maybe a horrifying discussion, or a sad discussion, or even an angry discussion, but to me, nothing about it will ever be "friendly" or "interesting" +5 though cause I like you Nunya.

    This may seem wierd but is seems that when I look at the clock 9:11 sems to show up whether it is morning or evening.

    I have a friend who was supposed to be in WTC when that happened. Is it concidence? It is also a recurring dream.

    All I know is that while I do not have degrees and experience in all the fields necessary, nor was I at the sites on, before, or after the incidents to use such knowledge and experience, but I do have some experience with the fields and situations in question, and believe the links above to hold valid points of view on the subject. I have to trust; because in the end, nobody knows except the dead and the untouchable. There's what we've been told, how the evidence looks from several different viewpoints, what happened, and the truth, and none of them are aligning.

    I can remeber being told to Type in Q33 NY in capitals in blank word doc (this is the flight number of the 1st plane to hit the WTC)
    Highlight it and Change the font size to 48.
    Change the actual font to wingdings (1).


    the result that comes out is scary!

    Pretty Chilling - read to the bottom. Try it out.
    If you are a sceptical person - still read on as it's actually very interesting!!
    This is actually really freaky!! (Mainly the end part, but read it all first)

    1) New York City has 11 letters
    2) Afghanistan has 11 letters.
    3) Ramsin Yuseb has 11 letters. (The terrorist who threatened to destroy the Twin Towers in 1993)
    4) George W Bush has 11 letters.

    This could be a mere coincidence, but this gets interesting:
    1) New York is the 11th state.
    2) The first plane crashing against the Twin Towers was flight number 11.
    3) Flight 11 was carrying 92 passengers. 9 + 2 = 11
    4) Flight 77 which also hit Twin Towers, was carrying 65 passengers. 6 + 5 = 11
    5) The tragedy was on September 11, or 9/11 as it is now known. 9 + 1+ 1 =11
    6) The date is equal to the US emergency services telephone number 911.

    Sheer coincidence..?

    Read on and make up your own mind:

    1) The total number of victims inside all the hi-jacked planes was 254.
    2 + 5 + 4 = 11
    2) September 11 is day number 254 of the calendar year.
    3) The Madrid bombing took place on 3/11/2004. 3 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 4 = 11.
    4) The tragedy of Madrid happened 911 days after the Twin Towers incident.

    Unconvinced about all of this still ..?

    It's the birthday of my best friend from college, and the date my nephew will be married this year. I DARE anyone to dispute those! lol

    Why they picked that date for their wedding is beyond me. Perhaps they got a discount.
