  • Honestly, no. A person has to want to make changes in there life. The question really comes down to, Do you believe that being "Gay" is a choice or not. Some feel that it is, others feel that no it is not a choice. Your question brought up Prayer in being "Gay" or not. So if you look at what the Bible says about this life style; Starting In Genesis 1:27, 28 "And God went on to create the man in his image, in God’s image he created him; male and female he created them. Further, God blessed them, and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many, fill the earth and subdue it.... Here there are only two sexes involved in the "Be fruitful and become many". If you think about it; two women or two men cannot fill the earth, can they? It takes a man and a woman. That being said; The Bible consistently teaches that the only sexual relations approved by God are with a member of the opposite sex within the marriage arrangement. The next question is; Are such standards reasonable? and Who Chooses? It is obvious from the way God made men and women that it is natural for them to be sexually attracted to one another. So surely it is reasonable for the Maker of humans to give direction on sexual matters. Is it not also reasonable that humans should follow such direction? That is if we want God's direction. Of course, we must develop confidence in the Creator’s wisdom, trusting that he knows what is best for us. This trust is developed through prayer and an earnest study of the Bible. Okay, so I don't know if this is what you were looking for.
