Yes, but only if you teach classes on "How to listen to another persons opinion without taking it as a personal insult" One without the other would create a continuous loop. Like a boxer punching the bag, nobody gets hurt, but the bout is never ending.
I think that I would benefit from such a class and would recommend it to others.
It's called Communications 101. You can even major in it in college if you like.
Where do you sign up? OH Ailsa! I got something for you.
ROFL
If only, but I think you'd be beating your head against a brick wall .In this day and age it doesn't seem posible for people to debate without raving ,ranting and swearing and even coming to blows....
I don't know about a lot of people, but when I was growing up, much of that was taught at home and in Kindergarten/grade school. Back then it was called decency and common sense. Seems like things have been going down hill since then. In that case, yes, it probably would be helpful to teach some classes in it. :)
no , we need that to weed out the bad apples .

Would it be helpful to teach classes in "How to Disagree" ? You know...provide techniques/methods/tools to use rather than simply using loud language, insults, sound bites and interruption as the roadmap? What do you think?
