Can a business close for a week and call it a reduced pay week where exempt employees will, then, only receive 3 weeks pay for that month? We are in Ct.

no, exempt employees get paid based on the year, so if you make $50k per year it is divided by 52 weeks, and you get it wether you work or not. the answer that you need is to find out if you are truly exempt
