If you had all the money you needed to be happy, the house the car the pool and the family, but you still were extremely unhappy. Clearly you would feel bad for having such wealth and not appreciating it. What would you do to fix the situation?

Find something that makes me happy.
    Do charitable work.
    Work with seniors or children.
    Go back to school.
If none of that works, give all the wealth away and start over.

If I was not happy with everything in my life, I would seek a mental help professional. Talking things through, usually helps me get through problems. Maybe I'm holding on to things that I think I want, but don't really want. Maybe I'm lieing to myself about something. Maybe I am clinically depressed an nothing is going to help me except medicine. Especially if I felt I did not deserve the wealth, I would find out why.

I don't drink or smoke or do drugs, but if I were in that situation, I might start. Please don't if you are in that situation, though.

Well I'd try to find the source of the unhappiness because it obviously has nothing to with all the wealth. And then try to sort that out, whether its unhappiness in a relationship or job or wherever it lies

Sorry, but I don't feel bad about any of it. I am not unhappy. I like my house and car, and I like my pool, I'm having a spa installed and new landscaping done next week, my family are terrific, great kids, doing well in school, great husband, I even get on with my mother-in-law. Nope sorry. Not unhappy. Don't feel bad or guilty.
See no reason to fix the situation - except this annoying person keeps telling me I should feel bad about this.....hmmm....maybe a restraining order to keep said persona away? hhhmmmmmm???
I know, I will invite then to dinner at my lovely house...great meal and perhaps a spa afterwards...yeah....what night suit you?

Give all my money to charity.

You are able to appreciate wealth, but that appreciation is in no way tied to long term happiness, other things achieve that.

You won't be happy if the money is ill-gotten. Else if you can convince yourself that the money is well deserved, you will start enjoying the same.
