Why is human relations much more than just getting people to like you?

    There is getting people to like you.

    There is also getting people to do what is best for themselves. Maybe getting them to do what is best for you.

    People don't always respond best because they like you - sometimes its because they respect you - and sometimes it is because they hate you.

    Sometimes they hate you for pointing out that they should do what is best.

    I think it gets pretty complicated quickly.
