IF YOU HAVE A THEORY OF ?, I'M SURE YOU HAVE A IDEA OF HOW TO PROVE YOUR THEORY, SO DO IT. I'M AN INVENTOR AND EXPERIMENT A LOT, BUT EACH IDEA HAS ITS OWN TESTS. YOU'LL JUST HAVE TO PRACTICE WITH YOUR OWN THEORY, YOU MIGHT GET AN IDEA FROM THE LIBRARY.

I'd find a book on scientific method and study the requirements for conducting a rigorous experiment. This might involve some kind of survey or controlled experiment. Good luck.
