  • Ask an attorney.
  • With great difficulty they close ranks very quickly. You need to speak to a Medical Malpractice Lawyer. If they think you have a good case you may be able to get a no win no fee deal.
  • If you suspect malpractice was involved you hire an attorney and tell him/her all you know and what you suspect. Whether or not you have a viable case will be determined by the attorney. :)
  • Have a visit with a good medical malpractice lawyer. If nothing else, it's worth the money to ease your mind.
  • How about consulting with malpractice attorney?
  • You will definitely need to check with an attorney. Many med mal attorneys will review your situation for free. Gather up any info about your situation-- any records you can get, bills, etc., and take some time to write down, in order, what happened that sent you to the hospital in the first place, what tests you can remember them doing, what procedures were done. Don't worry about not knowing the step-by-step details of a procedure, just try to collect as many of the facts as you can. If you're in New York, there are some good articles about medical malpractice here: http://www.fightingforyou.com/SiteMap/PracticeArea,3.html ... but you should check with your state's bar association to find lawyers. You can do that online. Good luck.
