Why do the boys loose there respect in highschool for the (female) teachers?
I've seen it in my school
and it should stop!
But why do they in the first place?

Boys at that age are trying to separate their identity from their mother's. They must flex their macho muscle and learn to become self-sufficient men. However, they are very awkward at doing this at that age. So by dissing the female teacher they are trying to communicate that they are tough and she must not cross the line and be overbearing. Again, perception at this age is sometimes not reality.
