Why do people get so bent out of shape because of political correctness?

I don't think that many people still consider being polite and considerate of others within a pluralistic society as being "politically correct". I think most just think it's "correct". PC was so last millennium, dude. ;)

Political "correctness" just means left-wing censorship and thought control. It means you can't think any thought or say any word that Hillary wouldn't approve of, not even if it happens to be historically or scientifically factual, such as the demonstrable fact that men and women are different and not just physically. And that such differences are not just imposed by society, but are inborn. Only someone with a lot of liberal-arts education could believe such nonsense.
