I've also been advised that they do... or at least they don't have any stategies in place to ensure that none of their ingredients haven't been tested and they certainly don't have the cruelty free bunny logo.

Well this is what their website says on the Ethics page: Animal Testing Policy At Virgin Vie At Home we are committed to helping to bring about an end to animal testing for cosmetics and toiletries. To this end, we: * Do not test finished products on animals. * Do not test any of our ingredients on animals. * Do not commission tests on animals, to be carried out on our behalf. Safety is of paramount importance to us and all of our products undergo rigorous safety assessments by qualified scientists followed, where applicable, by supervised testing on human volunteers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Its too specifically worded and I guess from that that perhaps sometimes they buy products that have already been tested on animals, except not because they commissioned the test or did it themselves... if that makes sense. The page is here: http://public.virginvieathome.com/our_company/pages/ethics.aspx

I don't know about that product but almost 100% of the commercial ones do test on animals, unfortunately there is no way to display the contrary. The only sure products are natural ones.
