  • Lets send you to the slaughter hey...what a nasty question..couldnt you think of anything else to say...
  • Using the word 'cow' I assume this is an animal which is used for an economic benefit either providing healthy and strong offspring which are sold for either finishing by other farmers/ranchers or used to produce milk for human consumption. Those in the business of economic analysis of farm and dairy animals will tell you that the animal should go to slaughter when it's economic benefit ceases, e.g. the cost of keeping the animal is more than an acceptable standard of financial benefit. Depends on the output of the animal and cost of maintenance!
  • The time when you think you can be slaughtered along with her. What a weird question? .. I don't bother about you beef supply ,so please don't post these sort of question and offend people.
  • Moooooooooooonday
  • Well, depends on what you want from the cow? Veal? then about 8 months, yearling beef, 12 months, obviously. Any age upwards. Do you only have one? Perhaps you could get a mobil butcher to come and slaughter it and hang it at your place? That depends on if you want to eat it or just sell it on? I currently have two calves about 5 months old, Jono and Stevo who will be lucky to make it beyond 12 months if they butt into me much more at feed time! I expect to slaughter one at about 8 months for veal and the other at about 12 months for yearling beef.
  • Ethically - never!
  • Just before the divorce is finalised... that way you get to keep everything.
  • Right before you're going to make steaks out of it.
