  • Depending on the size and breed, you can give baby aspirin. Call your vet to get the proper dosage, or you may be able to do a quick web search.
  • Might be a good idea to call the groomer and ask if there might be a reason for your dog's behavior.
  • Longer-term, a great product to have on hand as part of your "doggie first aid cabinet" is called Doggie Pain Relief (aka Pet's Pain Formula).
  • My dog was doing the same this but I never found any problems on the outside of his body. This is gross but it ended being his anal glands. It was driving us both crazy until I found out how to care for them myself by Googling "How to Express a Dog's Anal Gland". It only cost around $20 to have a tech. It WILL most likely be a reoccouring thing so it will save you lots of visits to the vet over the years if you have the stomach to do it yourself. Hope this helps.
