Mine was the one.....Your in my heart, your in my soul, you'll be my breath when I grow old.....what the name??????
-
Actually my favorite song by him was the theme to Enterprise.
-
Yes.. the song is "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?"
-
You stole my heart, and that's what really hurts.. Also, Forever Young.
-
Do you think I am sexy and hot legs!
-
i didnt listen to rod stewart during his days but i like the "have i told u lately" song.. its chill

"Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?"

Yes I do...wow, am I THAT old? :) Maggie May

Every Picture Tells A Story
-
I loath Maggie May with a deep and firey passion due to the fact that I have to sit through it almost invariably every single time I get into a car with my mother. But yes, I do remember Rod Stewart for all the pain he has unknowingly inflicted upon me. I've always been a fan of Downtown Train, because I have Tom Waits' superior original rendition to illustrate what a great song it actually is (despite Rod Stewart's cover version).
-
I like heaps of his songs: I don't wanna Talk About It, Downtown Train, First Cut Is The Deepest, Rhythm Of My Heart, I Wish You Love and Broken Arrow are all faves, but Forever Young is the one i dedicated to my children and it's my absolute fave :)
-
Rod is so old..but still is a legend:):)
-
Do 'ya think I'm sexy?

Forever Young Have I Told You Lately That I Love You
-
O remember him. Daughter bought us tickets to go and see him at the national stadium (Hampden) I was never into his music but what a show man.
-
Oh Yeah Baby, I SO LOVE HIM!!!! ***Tonight's the night..........
-
Aaaaahhhh, what I have and haven't done to Rod Stewart. The first song I remember really relating to was Maggie May. "The sun on your face really shows your age." I was close to 40 at the time and VERY conscious of getting older.
-
If you want my body - LOL, if that is even what it is called.
-
Georgie boy, or the Killing of Georgie. Can't remember the title.
-
I only really liked his very early stuff with the Faces, like "Stay With Me". Oh, and I really love "Every Picture Tells a Story"... aside from that, I hate Rod Stewart.
-
It would be tough to pick one favorite. I have been a fan since the early days and have seen him several times in concert - once in 1979 when he was wearing the now-famous leopard-print stretch pants and again in 1999 when he was attired in silk Armani. Twenty years can make a huge difference in one's performance! I love "Forever Young", but actually prefer the original Bob Dylan version on Planet Waves (even with slightly different wording) to Rod's. Some of the really older songs, Gasoline Alley and Cut Across, Shorty are all but forgotten in his repertoire, but I think they are great. From the very beginning, he always had a unique sound - unlike any one else and he continues to be inimitable, in my opinion.

It's a Heartache!
-
Yes and hot legs? I think that's the name of the song.

Of course, how could he be forgotten. I love Rod Stewart, went to see him a few times in concert. My favorite song of his has to be Maggie May, what else could it possibly be?

Sorry, not just a song, but an entire album: "Night on the Town" At one time I had the whole album committed to memory. As a matter of fact, I had the pleasure of "bending the elbow" - having a few drinks - with Mr. Stewart at the 1976 Mardi Gras, at "Pat OBrien's in New Orleans. Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it! VTY, Ron Berue Yes, that is my real last name! Sources: Because you asked. A little stroll down "Memory Lane".

-
Do you think Im sexy,it was so funny coz Rod was so ugly !
-
You're in my heart, LOVE that song. Maggie May is good too. Other than those two, not a big fan of Rod Stewart. You're in my heart is such a beautiful song.
-
Yes, of course - he's the only singer who will be out of work once his throat gets better. As for a favourite song, that's a tough one, but probably Sailing.
-
do ya think im sexy or his version of ohh la la
-
What do you mean, remember him? He's still alive and kicking! Anyway, Handbags and Gladrags - a great song, recorded when his voice was at its best.
-
I missed most of Rod Stewart, I was too young so I only remember his later stuff, probably Young Turks or Some Guys Have all the Luck. I was young.
-
it would have to be "Do ya think I'm sexy?" or his version of "Ohh La La"
